I've been an avid reader of David Hobby's Strobist blog for months and have finally dipped my toe into using flash, I'm normally a sports photographer.
Took this picture for the local paper of a kids team being presented with new kit and kit bags using on camera flash. It's not perfect, as a matter of fact it's not good but it's a start, and I doubt I'd have been able to do it without David's article on balancing light.
